Why did you choose Richmond?

I have been involved with Richmond since I was four years old. Growing up around the campus, I fell in love with the school's physical beauty, the diversity and atmosphere of the student body, and its opportunities outside of campus in a thriving city. When looking at colleges and universities, I knew I wanted a liberal arts school. Richmond offers the perfect class size, lots of one-on-one interactions with professors, and many interdisciplinary forums, as well as a well-rounded curriculum. The final reason I chose Richmond is the opportunities the school can (and has) given me for research and study abroad. I have received chances to travel without taking a full semester or year and I have received financial support from Richmond to explore possible career paths that I would otherwise not have been able to look into. Overall, the University of Richmond was the perfect school for me and I could not be happier with my decision.
